I don't know if that statement means anything to anyone but me, it means getting out of town, going somewhere else! This weekend, Dan had the itchin' to get out of dodge. I'm sure in his single days he would have traveled somewhere exciting like Mexico or Spain, but now that he is tied down with kids and a wife, this meant that we traveled to Twin Falls! Yeah! Dan reserved a hotel with a pool. We ate lunch with the kids (always an adventure), drove around Twin Falls for a bit, saw the temple, went to the park, checked into our hotel, swam, went to Target, ate dinner, swam again...did i say that there was a pool? i'm sure that the kids would have slept in there if we would have let them. The kids got up this morning and wanted to swim before we went to church. It's nice to teach your kids correct principles because it helps the parents too...we had to get back to town to go to church.
Well, we're back IN dodge, and i'm thankful we are. I'm sure that Dan wishes our travels would extend more into the world, but i really like being home. I guess that i am grateful for wild weekends like this and a adventurous husband and two wild boys to love. I can rest later!
