i remember the last day of school! it was such a wonderful feeling knowing that you had the whole summer off...after strawberry picking. Ethan had his last day of school today. he was so excited. He received his report card and he passed first grade. Not that we questioned it, but when we read it to him, he said, where am i going to second grade? We laughed and said, still at North! He really enjoyed his teacher and was quite a nice boy in class.
Quinten has 3 days left and Dan has 5 days left to drive to the schools. I don't know who has been more excited about this year being over. Probably Dan.
My mornings will be quiet for a bit.
i must admit that i am excited for our family vacations this year. We have a big Borgholthaus reunion in McCall over the 4th and then the Larson reunion at the beach the end of July. We need something to look forward to. this is good for our family.
the job search is on so if anyone sees a translating job or spanish teaching job, holler our way. i don't know what Dan wants to do but he'll figure it out and we know that we won't starve. we have food storage...we may be sick of rice, but at least we got it! haha
