Borgholthaus Reunion in McCall

Page worked really hard to get everyone together and after months of planning, it all came together beautifully.  Rob and Colleen, Jarad and his boys (Resse & Judd) arrived in Idaho on Page's birthday (June 29, 2011). It is always great to see family.

On Thursday, June 30, 2011, John and Lora, Tyler, Allie arrived to join the party.  All the family was together.  Little Audrey came and the boys took a million pictures of here...here's the best one!

We then headed to McCall Idaho on Friday July 1, 2011.  Everyone was so excited to get up in the Mountains and enjoy the nice weather and relaxing atmosphere.


We of course had to go swimming that night at the condo...just a few pix...

Ethan with his noodle and snorkle...loved it!  he is a natural with the snorkel.  would swim around the whole pool with his head in the water...great practice swimming!

July 2, 2011 Saturday...our little family drove to the McCall cemetary to see the grave of my uncle Kay.  Holy Cow! i have never seen so many mosquitos that early in the morning.  While Dan was trying to take the picture, you could see 30 of them landing on his hand.  as you can tell the pix is blurry and we ran as fast as we could after Dan snapped the photo.  For the 2 minutes we were there, i got one bite and Ethan got one.  crazy!

After the mosquite escape, the boys and i headed out to explore McCall.  Dan found the downtown from the side road and we found the lake!  Look how beautiful it is!  Consequently, we then headed back to the hotel, got our suits on and went back for the day.  here's some of those memories  :)

Judd, Quinten and a new found friend built a bridge so save everyone from the bad guys..so fun to listen to them play and enjoy the fun.

Drew and Dan on the jet ski.  Dan said that he only held on like this for a few minutes--while they trolled out of the Marina area. 

Dave and Jana rented a jet ski and it was so fun to watch them drive out and floor it.  i didn't get any pictures of the others because they were so fast that i couldn't catch them.  It was an amazing day at the beach with the family.  Everyone played and got along and enjoyed the day.  Dan even found Chapala's in town and bought chimis for us to eat.  We were in the sun for about 4 -4.5 hours.  i kept putting sunscreen on but it didn't help so i knew that we needed to leave.  Amazingly, the boys didn't get burned at all!  (we did good with the sunscreen).  However, i burned my legs!  i've NEVER burned my legs.  Crazy.  It didn't hurt too bad and we continued on but very good memories! 

The blond head in the life jacket in the innertube is Ethan.  He had a great time doing this!  the Water was FREEZING!!!  I couldn't believe how brave he was!

Of course, the best day of the year is July 3, 2011!  we had a nice day, on my birthday.  Dan took the boys swimming in the morning, and we went to church at 1pm.  We had a nice meeting.  We saw an old friend, Robyn Zohner, at church! (she was our wedding planner and a dear friend from the Bitterroot ward).  We sang the Star Stangled Banner as the closing hymn; it was beautiful.  You know how at the endof the song, some talented soprano always sings REALLY high?  Someone did and Ethan looked at me and said, someone sang really high, and he did his own imitation of the note!  We laughed so hard.  Very cute.

July 3, 2011---swimming again after lunch. This time at the condo...Bradlee, Audrey, Lauren and Ethan in this picture. It was fun. Anna, Allie, Lora, Dan got some rays...David jumped in and helped entertain Audrey for a while. Super relaxing fun day at the pool.
