Change is in the air

do you ever wonder why there is change?  i like to "change things up" but it is at my doing, not someone else!  i can then control it.  i've come to realize over the past few days that i really have little control over everything in my life.  the kids' personality is their own and your spouse is an adult too, and makes decisions too.

change is in the air at our house.  i am finding myself tense and nervous about it all.  i know that faith is essential to our survival and happiness.  i know that the Lord loves us and will take care of us.  But i am scared and nervous and stressed.  i shouldn't be but i guess i've changed into a worrier. (why can't the side effect of being a worrier be weight loss?)  logic tells us that we shouldn't worry about the things we can't control or change but i guess there is no logic in how we feel.  my dear friend sent me a quote and it is:

"We are here to learn to become like the Savior, and we don't do that by having someone else carry our burdens for us. The Lord's yoke not only enables us to carry the load He called us to assume but allows us to carry it for as long as He requires."

carry on...i guess, carry on.
