Curtains...it only took 5 years

I know that everyone probably says, big deal, curtains. but to us, it has taken us 5 years to finally get the cupboards painted the color that we both agreed would work.  that was done in March 2011.  Then we repainted the living room, hallway, and dining area.  So the curtains really had to pull it all together...not to mention i had to go to Boise to JoAnn's to actually shop for real material.  I found it!  So excited.

I made them this weekend and they turned out great, if i don't say so myself!  I put piping on the edges and lined them.  They look really nice and really pull it all together.  we are going to paint the wall at the end of our kitchen the background blue color.  perfect.  the painting may take a while too--i just hope not 5 more years!

curtains in the kitchen...gray cabinets, butter yellow walls  the curtains are perfect.
